ETNA TOURIST EXCURSIONS
HALF DAY
1) ETNA TOUR MORNING:
Meet your Siculì guide (certified hiking guide) at 8:00am in his OFFROAD CAR to start your adventure with 5 steps to see, feel, and understand "what is Etna". From how a volcano works, how it destroys and builds, and most importantly: how people, animals, and plants live around it. You'll visit an old crater, a cave, an inactive lava flow tube, free tasting of local products and much more, starting from the base up to 2000 mt.
You'll return around 13:30 approx.
Equipment: closed-toe sports shoes, jacket (These may be available if you don't have them, just ask!)
Pick up and Drop Off free from Catania or Trecastagni or depending on location of your hotel.

2) ETNA HIKING:
An easy hike to walk on the lava stone, to reach the summit of off craters , to enjoy scents, landscapes and to feel the power of Etna looking at Catania and the seacoast from its amazing volcanic slopes.
You'll return around 13:30 approx.
Equipment: hiking boots, jacket, walking sticks (These may be available if you don't have them, just ask!)

FULL DAY
3) ETNA HIKING FULL DAY :
A perfect day for true mountain enthusiasts. A full day hike on the northem side of Etna, where nature is still wild, walking on the lava stone ground. A full day into the nature rounded by basalt stone, local flora and fauna, and plenty of breathtaking lookouts. We used to start from Rifugio Citelli (Mountain shelter) at 1740 mt , visit the cave of Serracozzo at 1850 mt with our helmets and lamps, and reach 2200 mt, Serracozzo's ridge: a beautiful panoramic point where you can admire the whole wide Valle del Bove (the big valley) and the north-eastern flank of Etna, with its smoking summit craters. After the lunch break, we'll continue our tour toward Monte Frumento delle Concazze (the biggest lateral off crater) and after the last up hill, we'll reach the summit of mount, totally covered by several kinds of lava bombs and then starting downhill to close our round path.
It's a medium-hard 7 km path, but we can decide together our comfortable hiking according to your physical condition.You'll return around 17:30 approx.Equipment: hiking boots, jacket, walking sticks (These may be available if you don't have them, just ask!)
